We had a good opening weekend down in Randolph County!!!

We had 22 come out on us opening morning (9 of them being gobblers and 8 of them being young jakes).

Sunday we had 4 gobblers come running in to our decoys and this was the result. We could have killed all 4 but didn't want to be greedy.

Post your Pic and Stories about your hunt here!!!

Yeah the place we hunt, we have a guy that plants all the rows in between the pines, and he keeps it all very nice looking.

It's 2000 acres of Turkey Paradise!!!

I see a similarity in your numbers with football players.

Yes I do. I cut all the meat off of the breast bone so you have two big arse Turkey Breast. Then we cut them into 1in nuggets and soak them in butter milk for 24 hours. Then drain the milk off and put them in gallon ziplock with italian dressing then take them and batter and fry them up. Sometimes we do the same except after the italian dressing we wrap with bacon and grill them.

Friend killed this one with attached message

quote:

Tecomate Strut Report- Gobblers are henned up here in middle GA. I shot this nice 22 lb old Tom with 10" beard and 1.125" spurs yesterday afternoon at 8 pm.
My 12 yr old son (Brock) called in a huge non typical this morning. Much to his surprise, a big male PEACOCK came in to his calling at less than 10 yds and wouldn't leave him!! You never know what may show up in the turkey woods!
