Eric Crawford just posted this chart of the biggest shots in UK history (sans today's). Thought some of you might enjoy.

Surprised the Cameron Mills 3 in TX was not on the list

Without that 3, UK does not win the 98 NC

It's up there with Brandon Knight's against Ohio State. For me personally, Scott Padgett over Duke was probably the biggest I've seen in my lifetime. That put to bed a lot of ghosts from '92.

Pretty sweet indeed!

Shame they just tore up the Memorial floor and threw it in the dumpster. I seem to remember a nail that marked Beard's shot. Sadly it is probably in some dump somewhere.

That dumpster got cleaned out by UK fans in a hurry. It was pretty well known when they did it (one of the guys on Rivals made a coffee table out of the wood he got) and I know several people that went out to pull that wood out.

I wouldn't really call Tayshaun's 3 clutch. Awesome moment, but it was in like the first 5 minutes of the game.

I'm pretty sure this is an old wive's tale. Sort of like the Rupp/Bear Bryant bonus story.

I remember talking to Vernon Hatton back in the late 80's but I can not remember all the stories now. Getting old you forget stuff.

The floor with the nail was Alumni Gym, not Memorial.

I was in the hospital when he made that shot. I almost fell out of the bed.
