First things first, I don't typically watch basketball unless Auburn is on TV or if I can make it to a game... The NCAA tournament bores me, mainly because I can only get myself interested if Auburn is playing. That being said, I definitely haven't closely watched this guy play, although I was watching during the game in which he broke his leg in (surprisingly).

How good is he?

I ask because I see that he is choosing between Auburn and Georgia State, and was formally committed to Bruce Pearl at Tennessee.

Not very good. He was a bench player for UL last year... he hadn't lived up or his hype pre-injury.

He probably would be one of our better players pre injury but he is pretty avg post injury and I wouldn't be expecting anything special. Still probably would be a better player of ours

I don't disagree with that.

Sucks on a national scale and is awesome on an Auburn scale.

I feel like even a below average Louisville player would be a great pick-up for Auburn.

Dude he was the 1st man off the bench on a National Championship team that was loaded. Yeah he didn't start for them, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be a good addition at AU.

He's a 6'4 sg that has experience. Even if he never starts we need depth. I imagine the only thing that would keep Pearl from signing him is if his leg injury has effected his game to wear he can't be an asset.

Bench player for UL is probably pretty good by our standards.

Exactly we should be pretty excited if Pearl takes him. If we have Kevin Ware coming off the bench we are in pretty good shape.

He was behind 2 very good ones in Russ Smith and Peyton Silva. You really expect him to start over them?

To the OP, Ware was a top 70 player nationally out of high school before blowing out his leg. If he can get back to that form he would be good for AU.

If healthy he's a starter for AU. Personally I hope Pearl signs him. He's a good kid and we would get more national attention, which is always good.

Exactly...Siva is in the NBA and Russ Smith was the best player on the team. He was the 6th man and if he wasn't hurt he would be starting there this year. Ware had hops, could defend, and was a decent enough scorer.

Look at his jump shot, first game back...who can shoot like this on the current team, outside of Harrell?

Kevin Ware was limping supposedly during UL practices and I don't think he ever fully recovered. No injury I'd love him. Injury? IDK

Which is why he redshirted...A whole year off the court with some S&C...should be cool

He also played AAU for the Atlanta Celtics. They are normally the best AAU team in Georgia and sent a lot of kids to Pearl while he was at UT.
