This is the best part.

quote:

5. Much has been made about Pruitt’s intense demeanor on the practice field and he’s definitely very vocal in his coaching methods. But less has probably been made about why he’s that way. Not saying it’s better or worse, but former defensive coordinator Todd Grantham and most of his assistants (line coach Chris Wilson was very vocal) were more cerebral in their practice approach. They’d have their call sheets and go over them repeatedly with their respective positions players. Pruitt is clearly more technique oriented. His emphasis appears to be more about executing fewer sets well than trying to perfect multiple sets. It won’t be until well into the fall before we know how the Bulldogs respond and perform. But coach Mark Richt and defensive players already have remarked that communication is better and there is less confusion over calls, particularly when the offense is in hurry-up mode.

This is always good to hear. Glad Bailey seems to be coming around. He certainly looks the part

I wonder if the Langley at CB will stick or if it just means Wiggins and Tray have buried themselves in the doghouse.

I'd really like it to. He's super talented, I just think he needs the confidence along with the coaching.

Def could use a confidence boost. Hopefully Pruitt is giving him that

It's amazing how much more talented you are when you know where to go and you don't hesitate.

I think Langley has the talent to be an All-SEC caliber corner with the right coaching. I think the change in coaching will help several players get out of the doghouse.

So what's so different about the coaching? You clowns think Pruit doesn't call stunting and disguising defensive sets?

These players will be tasked harder than they were under THE LAST dh when it's all said and done.

All you need to do is watch a little tape of 2010 -2012 Alabama....

He is spoon feeding the disneys and you mutts are all licking it up like gravy. He just teaches techniques first.

Whoa, "clowns"? "disneys"? "mutts"? and a ton of opinionated hyperbole stated as fact?

Who the frick are you? You sound like a cock gobbling thunder count. Go frick yourself, a-hole.

I agree on Langley being really talented..just kinda wish he would get a shot at Free Safety. That position makes me nervous

I don't think it's really going to be free and strong safeties. More like left and right safeties is what it sounds like.

I think Terry could take one of those spots

I agree with this. Just haven't really seen a large enough sample yet to put a lot of stock in him
