Football went 12-2 (7-1 in SEC) while playing in the BCSNCG, softball is 27-4-1 (3-1 in SEC) while being ranked in the top 25, basketball just hired Bruce Caboose Pearl, and baseball is 16-7 (3-1 in SEC).

Who saw this coming?

Not me...

They have exceeded my expectations, but have not surpassed the standards I want Auburn to fulfill and maintain.

I like how we are trending, but until we are consistently battling for league and NC's, I won't be completely satisfied. I do appreciate the effort and commitment shown by Auburn to bring in the necessary coaching talent to get better.

JJ has made some tremendous hires over the last two years. That was our first step in becoming relevant again. Things are definitely headed in the right direction.

Yes we are. If course when you are at the bottom, we had only one way to go.

Still feel good about all sports.

I still think my favorite aspect of the team boards is that we seem to sally forth en masse to flame the rant. I don't pay any attention to the other team boards but I wonder if others do this

I love the rant just for that reason.

Same here TT.

I watched Auburn rise and fall so many times over the years that I had grown to expect it. Basketball wasn't even a blip on my radar. When I went to basketball games it was only to see Auburn lose and too often it was the same for football. For every high point there seemed to be a swift kick in the gut followed by turmoil and drought.

The changes that were seeing may go down in the history books of Auburn University athletics(could be hyperbole but I don't think so).

I'm excited as Hell! I never gave a shite about basketball and now I can barely contain myself. Football...... I'm off the charts!

It's nice to see the "good ole boy" system coming to an end. Before if you weren't associated with AU in some way, you weren't getting the job.

It's looking good lately. Gymnastics coach just won SEC Coach of the Year as well.
