@RazorCoverage: So a @BWWings opened in Jonesboro and stAte fans are melting down because it features more Hog gear on the walls. LINK

Makes sense, more Hog fans than Indian fans in the Boro.

Lost in all of this because of stAte fans trying to prove they have the bigger lil' bro complex than any other school in the nation would be they are just now getting a BWW, something that Ft. Fresh has had for years now.

russellville is just getting one too. i'd be willing to bet there will be more hog stuff in it than tech stuff yet i doubt there will be many complaints.

Russvegas being in a dry county is a big disadvantage for a bar and grill franchise.

Then again, I don't normally eat at places that put goofy shite on the walls anyway.

Tech also "knows their place" as a DII school, they don't pretend to be a rival of the UofA, even tho they have the 2nd best program in the state as far as winning tradition.

I'm sure they got their liquor license. They've loosened up a bit here the last few years but still there's only a few restaurants you can get your drink on so should be a good thing for bbw.

As far as tech, I agree, they know they aren't the number 1 team in the state and don't seem to be bothered by it which really makes me respect them more than asu.

Yeah, it was always easy to pick out the party girls from Russvegas, mention Blackwell and see if they got all excited or not.

Tech's enrollment is close to 12k now, they could try to move up like UCA did, but are smart enough not too. Their basketball program would be more competitive on the D1 level than UCAs, their football program would be about as good as UCAs.

With their aggressive expansion BWW has plummeted downhill. Years ago they wouldve been the Only franchise I'd have put a dollar into.

Depends on where you can put one in at, I guess.

Russellville will make the owner bank for a while, it will be the only place in town to go watch a game and drink some beers.

Ft. Smith appears to be doing alright, before it went in Hooters was slammed every minute they were open, no parking spaces, having to wait for a table, etc. Now that place is a ghost town and BWW appears to have all the business, they are basically across the street from one another.

Yep, and both still have shitty sub-par overpriced food. I'll admit, it seems like the Fort Fresh talent is better at BWW than Hooters, but then again I went to high school with most of the girls that work at the Ft. Smith Hooters and my God...

I used to be a regular at the Fayetteville location, but I haven't been at all in at least six months. I just don't enjoy it any more. Ok food, ok service, high prices.

Same here, I've only been to the one in Fayetteville once and it was during the weekend of the Third Eye Blind concert at Barnhill a few years ago. Got a Hooters calendar signed by Miss Hooters USA there but it was a ghost town then.

Anyway, the only reason I used to go to the Fort Smith location was to eat and watch the hogs with my friends but now that I'm 22, I've discovered there are many places here like Papa's, Varsity, and others, that have much better prices, food, and service, that are much better settings to do that in.

[quote] "Hooters was to eat "

that's why I go, cause they are still my favorite wings. If Hooters had BWW's low tables and chairs, I'd never go anywhere else.

"but now that I'm 22"

I was feeling pretty good this morning while sipping on my coffee,, right up until I read this.. hayull, I've got cases of toilet paper in the bathroom cabinets that are older than 22 years. I think I'll push back and take a nap, as soon as I finish my coffee. thanks...
