Why are so many non Arkansas fans on this board obsessed with Arkansas?

As a neutral observer it seems like they are the target and recipient of ridicule from non Arkansas fans on this board at a rate exponentially higher than the ridicule other SEC programs get.
Whether it be the thread yesterday about how they didn't go to a bowl or NCAA tourney, or the multiple threads making fun of Bret Bielema, it seems like everyone loves to gang up on them.
My guess is that it stems from insecurity issues and there has to be an element of envy involved also. Arkansas has a lot of potential and I guess people want to get their shots in now before that potential is unleashed

You haven't been here long enough to have seen Arkansas posters when they had decent major sports teams.

Just enjoying all of their failures because they hired Bert. Bert came in and immediately made an arse of himself and talked shite. Now everyone is enjoying laughing with the rest of the nation at the state of Arkansas football under Bielema.

Arkansas has the potential of Ole Miss, but they think they have the potential of Texas A&M/LSU.
