Borchert looked like an idiot in that last game. I can't believe he ever played for an SEC team. He made Riley Benock look like a superstar.

I always thought Benock caught unwarranted shite. He was a good player, not great, but still good. He was meant to fill that white guy shooter role, which I thought he did well at times.
His only problem was after that travel at the end of the Tennessee game that year everyone was waiting on him to frick up.

I wish one of the decent players on the team tried to take charge last night. Instead we had Borchert launching up NBA three's and trying awful passes.
Oh well...maybe having a bench next year will help in these situations. Hopefully Daniels, Houston and Ndoye are all serviceable.

It may just be me but it seemed like Borchert only took 3 or 4 three point shots

He actually only shot 2...they were just ill advised shots. Sword and Borchert looked awful in that stretch. I was hoping Ready or Thomas would take over and start taking the shots, but it never happened.
No big deal. May have been fatigue more than anything. If we continue to lose to mediocre teams next year then he really has no excuses though.
