It looks like a bunch of one-and-done 5* prima donnas are leading UK to the NIT once again. Last year UK got eliminated in the first round of the NIT by #8 seed Robert Morris.

Kentucky 2013 recruiting class signed 6 5*. Since Basketball roster is much smaller than Football roster, that's equivalent to a football team signing 25 5* in one class.

They are losing by double digits to us. They are not good at bouncy hoops

Tennessee fans certainly can recognize a team that underperforms.

Your jealousy and obsession is well noted. Thanks Phat! We appreciate it.

I like Randle and Dakari.

Randle should be pissed to be on a team that nobody passes the ball.

Dakari plays hard.

The rest? They suck.

I think a few of them actually care but the Harrison twins just seem like lazy turds who don't care.

Prima donnas is the right word. I've watched them at Rupp all season and I've never seen a more selfish bunch, well, since last year.

So much incredible talent. So little heart.

It actually is weird how Cal has turned this program into a one and done factory. Cal is a much better coach than people give him credit for. Despite his rep, he actually built some great upperclassman-heavy teams at UMass and Memphis.

This new model he's established won't work unless he gets another special talent like Anthony Davis.

This new model

It's not a "model". It's called going after the best players in the nation...and getting them. Billy D would love to have Cal's "model" but he isn't able to.

I would agree, you can bring in great freshmen, but you really need great leadership from your point guard, and they don't have that this year.

They seem to be just whiling the time away until the draft. Incredibly selfish bunch.

Yes. They will always be a good team with the model Cal is using, but rarely national title caliber. Those first 2 classes were hungry to rebuild UK basketball and played as a team. Now UK is nothing but a one and done NBA development team. He is going to need to start building the roster around 4 year players with 1 and done types mixed in....the way Kansas, Duke, Syracuse, etc do it.

This seems to be the key ingredient he is missing. He has athleticism through the roof. He needs a big man like Anthony Davis and Demarcus Cousins to make it all work. Also needs some kind of leadership. It's extremely hit or miss with each new rotation of 5 star freshmen. Some gel, most won't.

Texas talent is overrated. But anything that destroys the Kentucky program is good in my book since cheaters evidently have to do so to win.

No, Billy would not like this cluster frick of an offense, and players who are clueless about what a team is. The only player Billy wanted in that team is Randle and Poytress. And I'm pretty sure both of them would have been a lot better off being Gators.
