Watching ESPN right now and they showed a clip of his interview with Gruden and I just kinda looked back and remembered his 2 years at AnM and he was awesome. I wish he weren't going to the NFL this year so I could see him in person next year against my Gamecocks.

The media portrayed him in a negative light usually but screw them. He was a beast on the field.

I'd have given just about anything to see him return for a year or two. Oh, what might have been ....
Johnny's a great kid, and I'll be cheering for him on Sundays.

(really looking forward to the A&M/SC match-up)

Yeah, LSU games haven't been the Ags' best showings the past couple of years.

That Florida game a couple of years ago ... great memories. Our first game in the SEC. None of us had seen that freshman QB play yet for the Ags. The start of a memorable season, for sure.

Absolutely agree. I enjoyed Tebow and I despite being a Bama fan really enjoyed Cam Newton too. Johnny wasn't around long enough, gonna miss the guy.

He was fun to watch and he had his moment. Life in college football moves swiftly for all [pause to briefly look at the sunset in a deep, meaningful way].

I'm actually kind of interested to see how A&M's new QB will look.

Yeah he was pretty good vs almost every team in the SEC

Good luck to him, interesting to see how he shows on the pro level

Same. I always like players better when they're out of the SEC. I fricking hated Cam Newton during his 1 year and I hated Manziel in his 2 but now I really love watching both of their highlights. Some absolutely amazing plays.

There will be another one. And if recent history is any judge then these 'once in a generation players' will become once every 2 years. So you shouldnt' have to wait long.

Not really, I'm not sure about how everyone else does it but even when tailgating with a tv i spend more time socializing than watching another team play.

I don't want Auburn to have to play him again honestly, so I'm glad he's gone.

I will miss seeing him run wild though. I don't think I've ever seen so many "How in the frick did he do that?" plays than when JFF was in the game. He did them so often it just about became an expectation.

You can't be a fan of college football and not enjoy watching him play. I hated (not really) him when he played LSU but if he was on TV I always watched. Good luck to him

I don't like him. He's a baller. I still think he's a bit of a douche though, Although I don't blame him for partying all the time and not going to classes.

The first time I realized just how special he was going to be was against Arkansas his freshmen year. I was in the stands when he did the loop-de-loop thing, and I just bust out laughing. Never seen anything like it.
