Through his first 8 games or so I would freak out when he would start dropping back and improvising. After a while you just began to accept it

Never actually asked, but how worried was the war eagle fan base when manziel had the final drive of the game?(even when he was hurt)

Oh i'm sure there are some defensive football minded fans who think that evolution of the game is a terrible thing. QB's should just hand the ball off and get out of the way.

Don't frick up what has the potential to be a great thread by trying to start measuring your dick. Auburn had a great year. Congrats.

I enjoyed Tebow and I despite being a Bama fan really enjoyed Cam Newton too.

I had more fun watching Manziel. Maybe because the talent around him wasn't as good as the talent around Tebow and Newton........he'd watch his defense give up a touchdown in 3 plays then shrug, say "screw it", put on his helmet and go score another touchdown.

simmer down. Is the the collies comment? I was just responding in kind to the war eagles thing.

I'm sorry that my honest feeling was confidence that we'd stop you. If that doesn't play into your johnny fluffer thread then the question shouldn't have been posed.

He pretty much willed our terribad D to get a stop in his last game to get the win. He can be criticized for many things but those who say he can't lead a team didn't watch him

So what, he likes to party a little bit.

He's never gonna generate headlines for any whiny interviews or smartass "look at me" comments.

Dammit, I only got to watch him in two games and he sucked in both. I feel cheated.

Even though the games weren't seriously in doubt in the 4th quarter either year, the games against LSU were both insanely tense the whole way through.

He'd have 7 second plays where he'd run what seemed like 40 total yards around the backfield and only gain 2 yards total. It was nuts. Every play he had against LSU was breathtaking because it was about a 50/50 proposition whether he'd make an incredible play or the LSU defense would.

i was nervious, but felt alright if we didn't give up the big play, which we were able to do. We had gotten pretty consistent pressure all day, and the final drive was no different... once you guys got inside the 25 and coverage tightened, it was going to be hard to score with such little time.

FWIW, the end of the FSU game was very similar to the A&M game... with the main difference being we gave up the huge pass play to FSU.

Did you not see the rapid fire of ULSU posters begging for attention right out of the gate? The thread was DOA.

Wait, some of the critics are saying he's a poor leader? LOL. I haven't read any of his detractors' pieces becuase I knew they'd be this stupid.

Johnny's in-your-face leadership is the only spark our awful, atrocious, insanely bad, terrible, no-good defense was ever given all year.

I've seen some equate his off field behavior to poor leadership ability, as if it matters

If I was a teamate it would. On the field he was fun to watch. Off the field, pretty douchey.

Sorry I was raised right and not by a dirty rotten backstabbing family.
