Did a search, don't know if it's been discussed.

LINK

LINK

Two officers serving a probation violation warrant at a home, 17 year old killed. Alleged family member made a post in the link that goes like this- officers knock, Christopher asked who was there, no response, opens door with wii controller in hand, officer, with weapon already drawn, fires one into chest (more in link.)

GBI is investigating it. Spokeswoman says the teen opened the door with a handgun. Two officers are on administrative leave. Not many more details.

Anyone know anything more on this?

I seriously doubt that it went down like the family member said it did. It's possible, but unlikely based on the info in those links.

2 Probation warrants, 17 year old punk, trailer park

If I had a nickel for every time someone said they were just ''minding their own business'' and the police came over and ''harassed them for no reason at all'' I'd be a rich man now.

I, too, have my doubts.

I think the victim is white. No marches planned.

I doubt the officers' version of the story. The warrant was not for the kid, but for his father. What I heard on the news was it was for probation violation for a misdemeanor.

Attorney: Teen was shot for having Wii controller in hand

quote:

Christopher Roupe, 17, was in the ROTC at Woodland High School and wanted to join the Marines. His friends said he looked after them. Roupe's young life ended Friday night when Euharlee police officers showed up at the door of his home to serve a probation violation warrant for his father.

Here is a picture of the kid.

Oh I didn't know he was of a superior background.

Lynch those police officers.

Give the cops life in prison. I'm sure it would last a really long time

Cops shouldn't carry a piece unless they are responding to a call that indicates violence.

I've been to the UK and love that about their police officers. You don't see them getting into gunfights with unarmed teenagers there.

I want to know why in the hell did the chicken shite cop have his weapon drawn for a misdomener warrant. I mean I could see it if it was for a violent felony warrant and I still have problems with that but at least I kind of understand it. If you are that damn scared don't Be a cop.

They just have soldiers being beheaded in the streets.

A machete almost guarantees you power and that's pretty scary. Same for South America.

Please tell me you're not comparing homicide rates in the UK with us, it's not even close.

What in the world are you talking about?
UK police don't accidentally shoot teenagers because most of them don't carry guns.

I don't know where you got the machete talk.

The problem is cops never being held accountable. Thinking that they shouldn't carry is going full potato.
