Tramel submitted this to Kipp at 24/7 and included a Facebook post about what his 1st year on campus was like and what led up to it, in this short essay. Very good stuff...

His last sentence says it all: However, I persevered with discipline, patience and hard work so that I could accomplish my goals that I set for myself a year ago.

Fine example of the attitude we need on our team. We are pulling for you, Tramel. Gooooooo Dawgs!!!

Awesome. I am really looking forward to seeing the talented guy play, whether it be at WR or FS.

I wish he would have updated us on whether he had ever developed friendships with his teammates. He sounds really isolated in this essay. I haven't heard anything about his progress or how he is performing, whether the knee problems he experienced last Fall were healed and whether he's 100% for next year. Would have been good to have him tie up those loose ends.

I hoping so as well. It would have been nice to know for sure.

In the article it mentions Arthur Lynch helping change his perspective. That makes me think he grew bonds with some of the guys.

I would assume so since he decided to stay. Being injured on a team can be a pretty isolating feeling, even with good friends. He and Brice Ramsey were really close during the recruiting process

Lynch went through the same thing. He got incredibly home sick and almost left the team as a result.

Glad he was there for Terry. Hope others picked up the slack as well.
