How does it feel to lose a championship game?

9th Marion County basketball tourny. Kid steps on the line as he shoots a game winning two, worth three points, to win by one. I was crushed.

I watched my friend's high school team play RC Hatch. They were the worst team I've ever seen on any level. They were like spray canned robots in football jerseys. The score was 84-0. I think that joint was in Marion County, or close.

15 round shoot-out in a regionals tourney up in Maryland for hockey. sucked a whole lot
a year later, lost in a Pittsburgh tourney playing with half a team due to the flu. went into the 3rd period winning 5-2 and lost 6-5.
they both were horrible experiences

I was thinking about that today...would I even have wanted us to make the National title game this year and get reamed by FSU. The answer is yes x1000000. At least we'd have a conference championship. Yeah it would suck to get nailed in the NCCG, but you earn some real hardware and respect just making it there (SEC title)
