Are you in Fayetteville? And what's it supposed to do in N. Central AR this week? Supposed to be heading up that way.

Here in God's town of tRock, we are expecting a dusting of sleet today and possibly some wintry weather mix on Tuesday. Also, calling for a chance of some more late Thurs night.

Tues looks like the best chance for any accumulation. Which may not be much.

Safe travels if you do.

Thanks, y'all. Great timing for me. I've been hoping to see some winter precip this year. Our recent "ice storms" down here in BR just aren't the same.

Here in Hiwasse, where we look down on Little Rock (and the rest do the state for that matter), it's cold but no precipitation yet.

The alleged meteorologists continue to beat the drum of an apocalyptic winter event to their sponsors' delight.

Yeah, that was supposed to occur down here last week as well. There'll be a better chance of it up there though, and I'll get to see it.

Guess I better go buy 15 loaves of bread an a few gallons of milk.

Seriously, I was checking out behind a guy in the grocery store who was doing exactly that a while back. He said, "weather report says it's gonna snow". I was speechless.

You should've seen it in Baton Rouge when the apocalyptic ice storm was predicted last week. You'd think people down here wouldn't be freaking out quite so much with all of their hurricane experience. That was not the case.

It's 52 degrees here in NY

Actually very nice weather for the Super Bowel. Everyone got lucky with MetLife not being domed and the weather being so good.

From Dan Skoff twitter, looks like a lot of people got surprised by it. This is on Mission Blvd.

People are funny.

I do remember the ice storm of 2000 seeming somewhat "apocalyptic" though. It was terrible.

It is raining now in CenArk with 34 F and I've seen some sleet but it appears the frozen precipitation with sleet and freezing rain really begins about 6 PM today with the winter weather alert ending at midnight. About 1 inch of sleet/ice is expected.
