when the Flagship is resorting to gimmicks to sell tix to BWA... something is dead wrong.
Several Emails the past month giving group rates, specials with hotel and food packages, and now no handling or shipping fees...
We are done in BB for a while, have been and I see no change in our immediate future with this staff. But.. WDIK!!!

Anderson isn't going to get fired.
Do all of you really think firing him is the best answer?
You fire Mike Anderson and Arkansas basketball will be done. Relegated to hiring an assistant at some college or hiring another Stan Heath.
It took 10-12 years for it to get this bad. You expect it to be perfect in 3 years?

I'm not 100% there yet, but am getting closer to being at that point. Study break time is premium time, and I'd rather not waste it on shite shows like many of the ones we've had this season. Therefore, not gonna get back into it until we show some maturity and win on the road.

How do you know this?
Mike took over a pretty shitty program. APR in the dumpster. Lost scholarships. Has no option to weed through players. Can't send anyone packing.
What do you suggest Mike do?
Who do you hire? Nobody will want a job at a place that's been through 3 coaches in 8 years and just fired someone considered, one of their own.

They've been doing those promotions for a while now, since 2008 or so.

Mike hasn't been here for years and years. First off.
Secondly, I want a manager that comes to work everyday on time and who is committed to sticking with me for the long haul, no matter how bad things may appear on the outside.
Also, if I had a manager that had to guide my personnel for two years with no option of firing the bad employees and hiring better ones, I'm smart enough to understand the situation. Not dumb enough to fire the manager.
