Bristol ticket update....
Tennessee is announcing today that their allotment of 40k tickets have been sold or reserved. That includes 5k that are being held for students. Tennessee is working with Bristol to try and get more tickets. More coming from Tennessee in a few minutes.

Looks like an utterly horrendous venue to watch a football game.
But hey - if it sets a record.

Good for you. I'm hoping you guys can get back to relevance to make the 3rd Saturday in October exciting again.

Cool idea, but that just looks like a terrible venue to watch a football game

ill say it again. They should let people tailgate on the track.
Bring in their own TVs and coolers/food.

The sight lines are going to be miserably bad. I'd wanna go to be a part of history but I'd really consider not going just so I could actually see the game.

I did that back in 08 when the dodgers played the sox at the coliseum. Cool to be a part of the largest crowd to ever watch a baseball game, but dammit you couldn't really see much

meh... There's prolly 30-40 programs nationally who could sell 40,000 for a once in a lifetime gig like this...UGA sells 40,000 to Jax every year. Athens to Bristol 310mi. athens to Jax. 355mi...

It's cool that the game will be played there. Just one word of advice for anybody attending....bring a telescope. I'm not sure binoculars will be enough.
