Statistically (KenPom) we're not as good as last year since we blew out so many teams with our 3pt shooting.

This year, we've been winning close games for the most part. We don't rely on 3pt shooting as much so our offense seems more reliable. I feel much better about the tournament with this sort of offense and our stout defense. And this is without Harris, Carter, Graham, and Walker.

Mostly a brag thread about our kick arse team

Our strong suit is then seniors who have a lot of playing time under their belts and we have some depth...Finney Smith will develop and he can give Young some rest...etc etc

I honestly think we are a Final Four team and our leadership will not let us down with subpar performances in tourney time.

Our team can play physical if it has to and can play finesse if need be....very talented. Walker would be icing on the cake.

This is a FF squad. Need a couple breaks to make a NC run though. Need a little luck on your side.

They could really use one more big body, but this is a very good, tough team, and they will be a tough out in the tournament for anyone.

Luck is always part of games....but sometimes you make your luck by taking advantage of it. I just think this team will kick it up a notch when its crunch time and its elimination if you don't give 110% effort.

We are good but not great at rebounding...but our defense is razor sharp and poor shots by opponents lead to breakaways. Our point guard is tough as nails and #0 subs for him giving him rest so he can rack up 110% effort on defense. Patric Young will always be one of my all time Gator favorites...unselfish and loves playing as a Gator. Frazier can shoot lights out and keeps defenses honest. Free throws are the only thing that give me pause.

They've got the talent to do it, and it's great finally getting it done in close games this year, too. The FTs could be an issue, sure. FF isn't unrealistic at all.

Imo best team since our last NC team. They are playing unselfishly and always making that extra pass.

We don't seem to be jacking up as many threes but we also seem to be a better FT shooting team.

I also think these close games decided in the final minute will pay off big time in March.

It's all about matchups in the NCAAT but no doubt this is a FF caliber team and a legit NC contender.

I always loved the unselfish nature of some of the Gator teams, really proud of the way BD gets things done.

Yep, which is why I feel really good about this year's team given the success with close games.

I will be picking this team in my final four come bracket time.

Y'all may even go all the way this year.

Good luck

With the right bracket( and a healthy squad) they could go all the way. This team is good.

Now if you we could get the football team up to snuff

This team is VERY good.

They realistically have a chance at the Title come tourney time. But that being said to reach that point and win it you do have to have things go your way at times. If things do this team will be marching late into march

None.

UF has no excuse to "suck" at football.

Eat those words next December and realize injuries played a huge role in a 4-8 season. Cant wait to rub salt...cause I will do it and make some wish they had held back the sharp criticism, if Im wrong...let me have it...I got Gator skin.

Lets keep basketball the subject here and be positive for once. Geesh.

I loooove this squad. Like dmb said, we're a final four caliber team with all the pieces we have in place. Obviously it'll take a bit of "luck" (hate to use that word) to win it all but I can't really ask for too terribly much more than what we're putting out right now. I mean we are unquestionably, undeniably the best team in the SEC right now, and that's a pretty nice thing to hang a hat on.

This might be the most complete, deep Florida team since the Noah/Brewer/Horford days with the addition of Chris Walker. UF could win it all this year!

Seriously? I'm sorry but the amount of talent that UF has on its football team (yes REGARDLESS of the injuries) is no excuse to go 4-8.

Absolutely unacceptable for the flagship school in the state of Florida with this much talent.

You're gonna rub salt in the wounds of fellow gator fans if the team does well?

If UF does well none of us will give a shite if you "rub it in" dude. We'll all be too happy.
