They have some difficult admission standards. I read a thread on reddit that kind of went into it. It's not that so much a difference in grade requirements or standardized tests but about requirements in terms of college prep classes. That's at least what I gleaned from that thread. That's supposedly the reason Gary Andersen left.

Luckily we let any moron in. We just don't do as much to keep them here if they totally blow it. Wiscy is a pretty damn good school.

Rico Flip, Allen, and the unlikely but very welcome Preston Williams flip left and this class is incredible. It is even without those guys, but gosh that would be nice. Madden a huge get, really alleviates some of the angst the lack of OL in this class was causing.

What was the reason he wouldn't be accepted into Wisconsin? Just curious. Glad to have him.

read this fairly short article from Maize & Blue....

So his grades aren't high enough for Wisconsin, but are for UGA?

Possibility?

LT- Theus
LG- Madden
C- Kublanow
RG- Pyke
RT- Houston

I know he's listed at 6'7 340 but Pyke is listed at 6'6 330 and he had a stellar year. Granted Pyke is extremely athletic for his size. Does anyone else have any predictions of the LG/C combination for next season? I'm not sure how Isaiah Wynn performed last year when he got in, and we all saw how terrible Hunter Long was against the Gators

Wynn will start next year at either guard or center. The kid will be a superstar on the OL before he leaves UGA.

Nice pick up.

Wynn will start at Lg or C.

Wisconsin is a better school. This isn't hard to believe.

We're in bad shape if a 3* OL is gonna start as a true freshmen.

Madden's going to be a good SEC lineman. Has the mean, nasty, SOB attitude with the size to back it up.

He'll need to work non-stop on his first step quickness, etc., but he has devastating size and the attitude that will help him make the most of it.

Great pick up. Now bring Allen in and I feel much better about OL recruiting in this class.

And I've noticed a lot of people raving about Wynn, which you should since he is going to be very good. But I also think Dyshon Sims will be a good one. So we're starting to develop a little depth with the youngsters on the OL. Which is nice.

Sims is solid....Wynn is a stud. Just a different caliber of player. I liked both coming out but Wynn is going to be really good.

Can't argue about Wynn. Saw him in the Army All-Star game his senior year and you could tell he was going to be very good at the next level. We may have a very dominant line shaping up for the future, especially after the 2016 class is signed and on campus.
