Call it what you want but at this point, we have a pathetic class and have not filled our needs with anyone. Thats pretty shitty for a program coming off two National Championship appearances in 5 years. fricking pathetic.
Pathetic? Really? Overreact much...Yes players have to be coached up but this class at this point is better on paper than all of but 1 of Tub's classes and it's as good as all but 2 of Chiz's classes. We just have to develop better than Chiz did.

Also you're forgetting the 3-9, 0-8 in SEC atrocity that resulted it a new staff. Like it or not, believe it or not, That negated the 2010 natty recruiting push and slowed the expected momentum after the 2014 natty game appearance.

I don't follow recruiting as closely as I have in the past but I am pissed about losing TB to ole miss. I can't believe we let arguably our lynchpin player (I say that because he has been committed for a while at a HUGE position on need) go to a team in our own division. Anyone have some good news?

not safety
Actually yes on safety. Colbert is a 4* and Trey Matthews is apart of this class as a transfer and he could easily start next year. If you're going to jump off the deep end at least make sure all of your details support your position.

I'm so cautiously optimistic about duke coming back. On the one hand I feel like he could have an amazing year next year and on the other he could make his money now. It just seems like there's a wait and see mindset around Auburn right now. Could be good, could be bad. With Gus I'm leaning towards good.. So there's that.

You are smarter than a good many here. Im not sure how many times we are going to get burned by him before people realize he takes who he wants.

I come back from taking the boys to a movie and find my friend has shot up with a hot load of smack.

It's amazing how demoralizing some bad losses can do to the best of us.

However, I will admit I expected a much better showing in recruits. Let's be honest boys, we are looking a little soft in some areas of recruiting and Malzahn will need to take a hard look at the reason why.

With that said 15-0 Ship bitches

Would us recruiting more nationally be benefical? Looking at our current committs, they are primarily from Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. Would spreading our wings help boost our talent level, specifically on the defensive side of the ball?

It is both expensive and difficult to recruit nationally. We probably should put feelers out more throughout the season to national prospects but pulling a Ohio kid from Ohio or Cali kid from Cali when they have in state offers is hard
