the SEC would be 6-1 right now and the board would have had more of an SEC chest-bumping feel to it today.
Actually I wouldn't have been upset if that had happened. Everyone expected it too, to be honest.
Except, OU fans of course....

If an SEC team does well out of conference, I rub it in cause it pisses all the other conferences off.
If they lose, good, cause frick them.

You may be right for some, but yeah I have to admit I was all SEC until 2010. After the way shite went down here I have no allegiance to the other schools. I enjoyed watching Bama lose last night and I won't apologize for that.
There are a couple of schools I will root for out of respect. Ole Miss and I gained respect for Mizzou after our game. There fans for the most part are cool. I hope they win, but not because of the SEC, but for Mizzou.

Had Alabama won the SEC could have salvaged some respect if Auburn happens to lose on Monday.
If Auburn loses on Monday now it will be open season on "SEC SUX!" haters nation wide.
And in fairness, assuming Auburn loses, they'll be right, this year the SEC will have been much weaker than normal.
If Auburn wins, the narrative will simply be 8 in a row.
