because the schedule gets way easier. They won 7 this year and they play Southern Miss instead of Okie State and have Vanderbilt at home instead of South Carolina on the road.
Looking at the 2014 Bowl tie-ins, that will probably be good enough for the Gatpr Bowl again.
SEC Champion: Playoff
Another SEC Team: Peach Bowl (part of rotation)
#3 - Capital One (vs. Big 10)
#4 - Outback (vs. Big 10)
#5 - Gator (vs. Big 10)
#6 - Music City (vs. ACC)
#7 - Liberty (vs. Big 12)
#8 - Belk (vs. ACC
#9 - Texas (vs. Big 12)
#10- Advocare V100 (vs. ACC)
Really wish the SEC could get the Sun Bowl against a Pac 12 team instead of 3 Florida Bowls against the B1G

Every team has a chance to win every game if they don't forfeit. They won't because they suck, but it is zero to zero at kickoff

Really it was to point out that the bowls are going to look a lot different next year.
The Chicken Bowl reverts to its original name and becomes a BCS-level bowl. Although there is no official tie-in, the thought is that they will almost always take the #2 team from the SEC if available.
The Liberty and Music City Bowls move up a notch, with the Liberty taking the #4 Big 12 team instead of the C-USA Champion.
This year's teams with next year's bowl lineup could look like this:
Auburn: Playoff
Alabama: Peach
Missouri: Capital One
South Carolina: Outback
LSU: Gator
A^M: Music City
Georgia: Liberty
Vanderbilt: Belk
Ole Miss: Texas
MSU: Advocare V100
