I don't, never have.

I watch the Peach Bowl order a pizza and relax usually. I hate amateur night btw. Now that I have a young un we just hang out and be lazy. The last time I went out was Y2K I think.

Never have.

Family tradition growing up, we'd have a Marx Brothers movie marathon, then watch the ball drop in Times Square on TV.

I've had friends over before, and I've been to friends' houses, but not really "out". It's usually like 5 or 6 of us playing phase ten or something

I may make some vegetable beef stew for tomorrow so need to start fixing it tonight.

Usually though as I said its pizza tonight. Mama just requested Mexican food so I may make burritos enchilada style.

I've been out a few times before but most years just get together with family at one of their places. Unfortunately this year most everyone is sick so just staying in.

We did before we had kids. My wife and kids are out of town this week. I will probably get shite faced and watch a movie or a bowl game.

Going out on NYE is a hassle. Not stepping foot outside at all today.

I'm getting some Chinese and opening a bottle of wine, settling down to watch the Peach Bowl later tonight. Saving up my energy and liver for tomorrow, my roommate and I are hooking his 55" LCD TV next to my 60" plasma to show 2 different games at the same time in the living room.

I miss the old NYD schedule

CBS
1030 Cotton

NBC
1100 Fiesta
300 Rose
700 Orange

ABC
1200 Citrus
700 Sugar

But before then you had the major 2 on NBC (Rose and Orange)

ABC had the Sugar in the afternoon

CBS had Cotton

The morning was the Rose Parade on ABC and NBC and CBS had the Cotton Parade.

The only time I've really been out for NYE was when I went to NYC to literally party like it was 1999 and celebrate the new millennium. I think living in a city where you can walk or easily catch some kind of transport (public or cab) might make NYE worth going out for but it's just too damn dangerous. .08 means you're gonna catch DUI charge if you get stopped if you had more than 2 glasses of wine/beer/liquor (just a matter of getting stopped) so it's just not worth going out.

I don't "go out" anymore any time and not on NYE. Now years ago wife and I did go out to NYE concerts for WSP, we made it an annual thing from 92-2001. Haven't done it since but was very tempted to go to Phipps for WSP tonight with friends in ATL but it isn't happening. Long drive from Orange Beach & 12 yro daughter being in a wheelchair still from her accident in Nov. and wife not wanting to go or me to go equal my arse staying home. Which I'm perfectly fine with, we'll walk out back and watch the firework show from the wharf in OB. No hangover(don't really drink anyway) and no cost.

We go to or host friends with kids around the same age.

Little drinking, lots of football, and usually at home before 11.

I'm too old to mess around with that scene any more.

I'm not this year since I've got the flu, but I'm usually at friends' or family's. It's been a while since I've been bar hopping on NYE, but I never really liked it. Too crowded.

Used to do a formal NYE thing with the ex wife, but most of the time it's been a small gathering of friends. Now, nothing. Just another night IMO.
