Per Gentry on 24/7. Interesting move by the staff. As stated on the Dawgs 24/7 board, it appears Shaq Fluker's football career may in fact be over.

Fluker has been out all season with what the university is referring to as an "illness". There has been no elaboration on it other than that. Most reporters that cover the program never see him out there and think that there is more going on than what is being let on.

There are plenty of illnesses that aren't infectious, but may not be found until a complete physical is done, including blood tests. I would imagine, it has something to do with that. Whatever it is , it is perfectly within his rights not to disclose it.

HIPAA is a good thing.
I don't think rumors should be out any further on the internet.
Just know that he has a serious condition that could affect the quality of his life. From what I've read, he's a warrior. And I'm sure he'll do everything in his power to get better.
It doesn't have to be a virus or bacteria that he's battling.

No one outside of the program really knows. It has been said that what ever the illness may be, it is chronic and it does affect his ability to play football. It is his business and the media department and Claude Felton are leaving it that way.
One interesting side note; Lowndes25 did respond to one of the 24/7 posts to say that he think Tramel Terry may end up at CB once all is said and done.

Yeah, I some him post that as well. Apparently Langley needs to get things together; or Fenteng, Parrish, and maybe Wesley Green will take him over when they get here as well.

That whole thing with Langley starting over Wiggins, with Wiggins not playing at all - then Wiggins starting and Langley not playing at all - was just weird. I thought they'd both get playing time and compete for the job during the whole season.
It seemed to be all or nothing with both of them.
