In Ttown according to ESPN. I could see Coach Saban, taking Kiffin under his wing, if Kiffin has the right attitude. He is a damn good QB coach

Nah I'm good. I don't want him on staff. Learn your lesson and head on down the road young Lane.

I had a weird feeling he would be mentioned as an OC candidate had Nuss left. Not many pure pro style guys out there.

The names that would have been threw out were Kiffin, Schottenheimer, Bloomgren, and McDaniels.

"Under Kiffin in 2005 the USC offense produced numerous school records, averaging 49.1 points and 579 yards per game and becoming the first in NCAA history to have a 3,000 yard passer (Matt Leinart)...... In Kiffin’s three years as recruiting coordinator at USC, the Trojans had the No. 1 ranked recruiting class in college football every year."

I wonder how Bama nation would respond if Nuss went elsewhere and Kiffin came in. Would be epic to lurk on boards like TideFans as they back pedal on their opinions faster than a Db during practice drills.

.....not our DBs.

As an OC and recruiter, yeah Kiffin would be good, but people need to understand that unless Saban changes a bit, our offense will never be 550 YPG and 45ish+ points a game. We can do it and still be balanced, but Saban just doesn't let it happen. We have soooooooo much firepower.

So we were close?

Because close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

Coach Saban sees some value in him or he wouldnt be in Tuscaloosa. If the guy has learned some humility maybe he could contribute.

Don't know why people say don't want and all that like it matters. If you can help the team I want. He knows something. Played us pretty well when he was at Tenn.

Would a single one of us really care about whether he is humble or not? Can he help beat Auburn, continue to beat Ten & LSU, win SEC, and the Natty. If he can help do those thing, I don't care if he is the asshat he has always been portrayed as. Just MHO.
