Behind Clemson, Miami, Nebraska, Stanford, A&M and, Oregon.
So being in a hotbed of recruits with tons of money does not matter

Completely idiotic. We're a top 10 job and always will be.

Flavor of the month, anyone? They do have the facilities and "best place to live" thing down, though.
Seriously, Miami is the only job that would even be a contest and that's still a close one.

Was on Sports Center had a list of teams and UGA was not on it

First, it would have been nice if you had provided a link. In it's absence, it's close but they might be right. Off the top of my head, if I list what I perceive as the top jobs based on winning tradition, recruiting environment, etc.:
1. Alabama
2. Texas
3. Florida
4. USC
5. Notre Dame
6. Oklahoma
7. Ohio St.
8. Michigan
9. Nebraska
10. FSU
11. Oregon
12. Miami
13. LSU
14. Auburn
15. Georgia
Yea, I think I would put Georgia in the top 15 barely not based so much on winning tradition (we have 1 NC in the last 33 years) but rather due to recruiting potential as the 4th best recruiting state in college football.

I would have said that Miami is the one that's not even close of all the ones listed. No one goes to their games. They're in a hotbed of major recruiting territory but that whole area is a shithole.

UGa is not a top coaching job bc admins wont bend to the will of the football program. Ad wont pay rediculous amounts of money for coaches or spend exorbitant amount in facilities. Regardless it is still surprising to see Stanford in the list lmao.

Nebraska has a winning tradition; we don't.
==================================================
Nebraska has claimed 43 conference championships and part or all of five national championships: 1970, 1971, 1994, 1995, and 1997. The titles in the 1990s marked the first time since Notre Dame in 1946–49 when a team won three national championships in four seasons. The 2011-2012 Alabama Crimson Tide, the 1994-1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers, and the 1956-1957 Oklahoma Sooners have the only consensus back-to-back national titles by Division 1-A schools. LINK

Wonder what the reasoning is on Nebraska.
As soon as Richt wins us a title (lol, I know) we jump in the top ten.

A few of those schools have a MUCH better case than miami. Miami is actually one of the worst honestly. They have ZERO fan support, none. Their facilities are garbage, their recent history is bad, and a lot of family men wouldn't want to raise kids in little havana.

Dear Lord. Auburn is not, in any way, a better coaching job than UGA. Not at all. You're letting the fact they are playing for a title cloud your judgment.

Yall are way too focused on what a team has done in the 2013 football season. When you talk about coaching JOBS, as in, how the job looks to a potential candidate wanting to coach there, I'd say the list is something like this
Alabama
Texas
USC
Florida
Notre Dame
Michigan/Ohio State
Oklahoma
Georgia
We are a top 10 job currently, and will continue to be. Look at the factors someone has at UGA:
-Money. We are one of the most profitable ADs in America and when Richt was winning big we paid him big, he was a top 10 paid coach.
-City. Athens is probably one of the best college towns to live
-Campus/Facilities. We don't have the top of the line facilities, but they're pretty damn nice. We have one of the best stadiums in the country
-History. We're a top 13ish program all time
-Recruiting. We are the 4th best state for high school talent in America, and the number of elite prospects in state is constantly high
-Patience. The same reason most of you people lament our AD is the same reason someone who would be his employee would love it. He won't get fired if he has one subpar year or doesn't win a title within his first 3 years. Our AD has shown that we will give a coach pleeeeeenty of time, then some more. Like it or not that's attractive for a potential coach.
-Conference prestige. And no, I'm not basing this on the last 7 years that I so adamantly talk crap about. The SEC has been one of, if not THE, premier leagues in the country for a while and will likely continue to be for some time
-No in state competition. Anyone who coaches at UGA is unquestionably the head dawg in the state
And I'm sure there's more reasons I'm forgetting as well. But to think we aren't even a top 15 program is just woefully misguided.

Nebraska is done as a major power in college football. Once partial qualifier rules changed and southern programs started to pour money into their programs, the Huskers were done as a consistent national power. Not a top 20 job anymore, IMO.

Looks about right IMO. I might actually shift Michigan down below UGA but that's semantics. All listed above are destination jobs

It all depends on the qualifications...
livability, stability, facilities, money, success, etc.
Some of those top 15 gigs have turned over on a regular basis recently. In my world, jobs that turn over a lot aren't considered in a positive light.
Several years ago, they would always put UTenn ahead of us. Even though Knoxville is a dump and located in the sticks.
Michigan has barely been relevant in football in forever.
Nebraska? Again, barely relevant.
Based on any combination of real criteria, UGA is a top 15..top 10. I think the fact we haven't shite canned our coach every 5 years put us out of the running.

Your list is equally moronic...Oregon?WTF have they ever won?UFAG is a top job but had NO winning tradition pre-Spurrier,Same with FSU pre-Bowden and Miami pare 1983..
Tradition huh?What about Princeton?Army?Even Ga
Tech...if it's about winning "tradition"We still have 5 more SECC than AU BTW
As stated before, please name ANY other school that has a combination of 125+FBS HS players with and hour and half drive of the campus, the facilities, attendance and money and virtually no in state competition for said recruits?
UGA is a TOP 5 job easy...maybe top 3
