Auburn People...Do You Guys Build Statues Like Alabama?

I don't recall any statues around Jordan-Hare the couple of times I have been there. Do you guys like the idea of a Gus statue? Do you think it should be built after he retires?
Also, what material? Stone? Marble? Or would you like to see Gus bronzed?

we have statues for our heisman winners.
Just to cut to the chase, no we wouldn't build a statue for a coach that is currenlty coaching.

We have (3) statues of our Heisman winners and a bust of John Heisman outside the stadium
I don't think we will ever have a statue of a coach. Not the AU style.

We don't do statutes of our coaches.

I do know that the tiger statue in front of the stadium has UA memorabilia inside it.

That is your choice, and we do coaches, which is our choice. You probably did Heisman because you have more than 1 and we did coaches because we have several coaches that have won championships.
The pattern had been set when we did the first statue. If you win a championship you get a statue......doesn't say you have to be dead or even gone. Auburn wanted trophies for Heisman winners and would you normally do one for a player that was there only 1 year, but you had a pattern and had to go with it.
It's really the school's choice and really not the business of any other school.
Alabama fans also wouldn't throw toilet paper into trees, but think it's ok of someone else does.

Not so much defensive as just sick of hearing about it. Whenever someone wants to be cute or take a jab at Bama.........is this really the best that they can do? I wouldn't care of any other school built whatever on their campus, because it's just not my business. If I don't want to see it, then I don't have to go there.
