It would take a loss from both FSU and Ohio State. One of them may get upset, but I doubt both will lose with a national championship berth on the line.

Don't count Okie Lite out just yet either. If Mizzou beats Auburn and they jump to 3rd, FSU and Ohio State both lose, and Okie Lite blows out OU, you could have Mizzou at 1 and Okie Lite at 2. They will get the advantage of playing on a weekend when Bama doesn't get to.

This is exactly what happened in 2011 and they had no advantage. This will never happen.

I don't understand why, if OSU and FSU both lose, Michigan state shouldn't be the one to play the SEC champ. They only have one loss, right?

MSU's schedule is abysmal, I think they lost to the only ranked team they played and it was Notre Dame.
