Since it's IB week we'll get the discussion going early. I have to think we'll have to open it up to beat Bama so I'll say:

I definitely think Marshall can do that. And you can argue that our defense is better than it was that year and their offense is worse.

Our secondary is better, but our run defense is a good bit worse IMO. Our run defense was excellent that year. That and Fairley dominating QBs is what saved us that year defensively.
Anyway, hopefully Marshall gets something like 260 passing with 2 TDs, and 50-60 yards rushing. If he can manage at least 250 passing we've got a good shot to beat them, if he's around 150 I think we may be in for a semi rough day offensively.

During Tiger Talk last night Malzahn mentioned "having a plan for JJ" for the IB. wonder how much we'll see him

I really hate swapping in QBs mid drive. That is no knock on JJ, he comes in and does pretty well but it just kills our momentum.
