Great kid and outstanding career. Honestly hate that it ends this way. Love watching this guy play, well worth the price of admission. Unfairly labeled as a QB that could not win the big one.
Good luck at the next level good sir.

He really is. UGA and the SEC can be proud of him.

You want to know something crazy?
Aaron Murray, despite his injury, spent last night with new QB Hutson Mason and a few coaches breaking down film for GT. Our OL coach tweeted it at 10 pm last night.

Exemplary CFB athlete. Hope his draft stock doesn't suffer too much because of this. Whether or not he has the physical tools to do well in the NFL, I don't think he'll ever have issues with the preparation required.
to Murray.

I don't doubt it. Behind with less than two minutes to play, he is on a very short list of QBs that you would want to have ball in hand. All of the bad breaks during his four years and he never backed off of being a leader and never made excuses.

Richt said Murray played 13 plays on a torn ACL.
That is fricking absurd.
In 10 (maybe even 5) years, we will look back at this kid in awe. Very under-appreciated for a guy who is still quite beloved

Stewart Mandel summed up his career quite succinctly the other night...
Aaron Murray; UGA fans everywhere will always be appreciative of every snap you played. Class act, and a hell of a hard nosed competitor. Fare thee well.

I would also like to add that; I do not believe the SEC has seen the last of Aaron Murray. Regardless of what his NFL future has for him, he will be a coach somewhere soon, as he has stated that is what he would like to do as a profession. With a Masters in Psychology, insane work ethic, and a knack for breaking down defenses(film study & on the field); he will be a commodity on the coaching circuit in the near future, of that much I can assure you.

It was seriously awful to see it end this way. The worst way to end your career, especially to an injury that takes a long time to recover. Murray was an awesome guy.

Good Luck to the kid for the speediest of recoveries....And yes- He WILL be back.

I would give anything to see him come back as a GA and a stay on as a QB coach in 10 or so years.
