That game was a near thing. If Hugh Freeze was not an idiot it could and should have been much closer.
Ole Miss repeatedly screwed the pooch in the red zone. Running the ball inside with those Smurf RB's over and over was a waste of a play.
Get the ball to the WR's more than they did and it is a game. Best team won but it should have been closer.

It was Vandy...
Then it was Georgia...
Then it was Florida...
Then it was Ole Miss and the west...
Now its the west rep in the SECCG...
Im not saying Mizzou even makes it there, might be USCe if we dont beat aTm but the repeated "just wait until you play (insert random team) and they blow your doors off"
Hasnt happened yet. Lost in 2 OTs to a good South Carolina team by 3 points.
Beat every other team by at least 2 touchdowns.
Do what you gotta do, but at some point you just sound like you dont know what you are talking about.

And in all honesty, you didn't see the best Missouri has to offer.
Franklin was rusty, the DEs didn't really get to Wallace, our return game is out of sync.
What you did see was our A-game at running and defending the run. IMO that's what turned the game.

I do know that LSU, Bama, and Auburn* would own Mizzou.
*if played on a sunny day with dry conditions.

This. Ole Miss talks a good game. And every once a while they win one and they are insufferable. I don't think too many other SEC opponents were making that prediction. Ole Miss already won their Super Bowl this year.

Well you have to understand the history.
Like it or not, the Big 3 in the East blow this year.
UGA - Always an under-performer but a solid 2 loss team most every year
Tenn - havent been good since 2007 (very odd)
UF - LOL
Props to Mizzou but starting threads like this will only make it worse when you do lose, and you will....
Lets recap:
Murray State: Umm Murray State
Toledo: LOOK OUT!!
Indiana: 4-7 big 10 team
Arkansas State: SUN BELT!!!!
Vandy: 7-4 decent
UGA: 7-4 decent
USC: 9-2 & LOST
UF: LOL
Tenn: 4-7
UK: 2-9
Ole Miss: 7-4 decent middle of the pack team
SOOO, you beat trash teams, beat decent teams and lost to the only REAL GOOD team you played....
Look, congrats on winning 10 games, but it really is the perfect situation for Mizzou to be in with the traditional powers down.
