Don't be surprised if he goes after Chizik. No way Gene Chizik gets another HC gig anytime soon. And he's familiar with the SEC and certainly has the DC resume. Would you be ok with this hire?

I don't think we'll want to waste next year changing schemes. Richt will probably go with more of a 3-4 or hybrid scheme guy that we already have the personnel for.

Why not? The guy's a National Championship DC and HC. Plus he's coached a bunch of Thorpe winners and some great QBs too.

I don't see him firing Grantham. Last year they were pretty good, and this year they're just kinda bad. They played Clemson and LSU, which didn't help. But who knows?
As for Chizik, something tells me his next coaching job will be more under the radar. If there is one.

No. He means the HC whose idea of good defense was signing Cam Newton to keep run his offense and keep his defense off the field.

Malzahn's offense keeps your defense in the field. They score to quick. Which is why it will bite y'all eventually.
