quote:

For Auburn, a team that has floated to 10-1 on the wings of momentum and belief, this is everything the Tigers could want. For No. 1 Alabama, calmly trying to win its third straight national title, this is everything the Tide should fear.

quote:

This is a free roll for the Tigers. They're not supposed to beat Alabama, and if they don't, it won't take an ounce of pride away from what they've accomplished this season.

But if they do? Oh my. If they do, not only would they ruin Alabama's three-peat and give quarterback A.J. McCarron a bitter send-off but they'd put themselves in position to really pull off the impossible. A 12-1 Auburn team with an SEC championship on its résumé might not be enough to surpass an undefeated Florida State, Baylor or Ohio State, but it would certainly be next in line to play for the whole thing.

That miracle pass was the best thing possible for Alabama.

Better sos, and Auburn people are fapping until they get blisters on that replay of the miracle.

Auburn won't be playing the 25th ranked
team in the Iron Bowl.

Auburn is playing #1 Alabama.
Why is this overlooked?

Auburn should be more worried about that
than thumping their chest about a miracle
win against a now unranked UGA.

This is bullshite and every fan of either school know this is bullshite. So going 10-1, setting up one of the biggest iron bowls in the games history, and losing would not take anything away from the season?

I was saying something similar Saturday night. An uninspired performance by Bama against MSU and Auburn with a chance to go to Atlanta is the best position for Bama to be in. Had Bama blown out MSU and AU lost then Bama sleep walks through that Iron Bowl a la 2009.

Oh stahp. Let them have their fun. It was an exciting win, and they're having a good season. Makes for an exciting IB.

What do I have to look forward to? A loss to A&M and an uninspired win against dumpster fire Arky, if I'm lucky.

Auburn made a ton of mistakes and bad plays against uga in the second half.

The defense imploded and the offense was stuffed for most of the half.

All that is remembered now is that amazing miracle instead.

Pretty good article but I think this part is overstated.

If Auburn would have lost to Georgia, I would buy this. But this is now a playoff game for the SEC Championship. This isn't some kind of nothing to lose game for Auburn.

Malarkey, Bama fears no one and it would suck every bit of pride from Auburn.

Auburn dominated for 3 quarters... It was more than one miracle play.. That was just one play of many... We were up 37-17 and probbale should have had a more... One missed FG, a stupid hold (cost us 4) and settling for FG's 3 times. When your offense scores 43, it is more than one play. (Our D needs work)

Similar thing happened vs. Ole Miss, up 27-9, then Gus let up off the gas... Ole Miss closes to 27-22, Auburn wins 30-22...

Yeah it sets up similar, IMO, to the 2009 SEC Championship Game. Florida absolutely destroyed FSU while Bama had to come from behind to win at Auburn. Great way to get the team focused.

Dominated so hard that UGA took the lead back late

This miracle pass was just so perfect. Can't even see the mistakes AU made against UGA

Compared to that flawless game played by Bama against Missy State.

No let downs for the Tide!

Nice mitigation and subject change

suddenly don't want to talk about Auburn anymore?
