Im sure he meant that well, but nothing screams back handed complement like 'so-in-so is the best (insert losing record) team in the country'.

Which 4-5 team is better? AU had to score on their last drive to beat them. They went into the 4th qtr. deadlocked with LSU. Held USCe to 12 1st down and 300 yards, just turned the ball over 5 times and lost by 16 on the road. Put up more yards than TAMU did against them last week. They're not that bad. Bama will probably blow them out, but they're not that bad.

No, they're not bad. They'd probably finish 8-4 or 9-3 if they had the same OOC schedule and played in the B1G's Leaders Division.
