And, we aren't desperate. We don't need much to get up for this game, but I would suspect that these things only help that much more

This is what I hate about the Gumps. You didn't even read his whole quote before you spout off about what he "said."
In context, Miles was then told that Sunseri wouldn't be playing this year and he said, "Scratch that, guys. Turns out we're fricked."
