How about a real line for the Bama-LSU Game? (Spoiler Alert: It's not +17)

Sportsbook.ag ( LINK) has released their Game of the Year lines updated for this week.
In case picture doesn't show up, its Bama -12.

Alabama should be favored by a touchdown and nothing more
we've only blown out LSU once in recent history and that was the oddest Championship Game I'd ever seen

So take LSU, Bama wins by 10, profit!

10 points sounds about right given the recent play of both schools.
Home field advantage is pretty minimal in this series the last 30 years. More of a disadvantage most years.
Bama will win by 7 or more.

Anything more than -6 is a good LSU bet.

That was the biggest outlier LSU has ever seen I believe. Was just weird all around.

Vegas inflates Bama lines week in, week out.

This would be much better

Bama has had trouble covering all year...take LSU.

12 is a better line than 17. 10-12 seems about right.

okay, even if this is true what has LSU shown you that differs from the defensive performances we put up against a school like Ole Miss?
again, this will probably be the usual Alabama LSU slugfest but Alabama should be favored and we should win

We haven't covered twice (Georgia State + Colorado State), while we have covered all but 1 SEC game (Texas A&M could be a push, win, or loss depending on the number).
We have covered against every major opponent except A&M, even with inflated lines.

Ole Miss was a fluke loss. I think Bama will be favored by 12 points with a shift to 9.5 or so closer to game time. I'm not touching this game, I never bet on LSU.
That shite is scary.

This will be under double digits by the time the game rolls around.

Bama -14 is where it should be.

I have no doubt this will be a 'good' game. I think Bama maintains a lead, but struggles to ever pull away.
The only way Alabama could ever blow LSU out is if they score 7 on their first drive, and the defense forces a few early turnovers. I think LSU as a football team under Miles is one giant 'headcase.' If they get going, they're absolute world beaters. However, the teams under Miles do go the other way when things head south.
LSU's mission should be like most--keep it within 7 til' the 4th, then play for broke. LSU, unlike most, actually has the guns to pull it off at that point.

You will see it get down to 10 some places, but not much lower.
Vegas/Offshores will want to protect themselves from 7 point teasers being able to get Bama -3 or below.
I think it will bounce around 10-14, only touching 10 or 14 for a small amount of time.
