of needing to develop a "personality"? I don't see this Bama team having one. Maybe that's what Saban has strived for? Machines don't have personalities, they just do their jobs. Bama's football team is like a machine. I just hope we don't get a broken cog. Bama football, 22nd century stuff.

No, Bammer has just evolved into lowlife, oversigning, paying players, controlling refs, etc.

Dirtiest program in the land.

Probably. Teams adopt the coaches personality so it would make sense that Bamas teams have no personality.

Ah, its 2009 all over again.

But on the bright side Coach Richt is a really nice guy, ask Crowell.

They have a lot in common with the early 2000s Patriots. There were no big personalities on that team. All they did was shut up and win.

I think every D under Saban is programmed to outdo the rest of the D's that have come through in years past. They don't want to be that group that didn't meet expectations. On offense, it is probably the same mentality although Bama will never be known as a juggernaut on O.

Haha, like that's a bad thing that we don't have a sleaz ball as HC.

Richt tried to save Crowell, but Crowell was just interested in himself and took advantage of Richts kindness.

The Time Machine is a great film and novel but the remake, like most remakes, was terrible.

Wrong. Crowell, like your defense, is the end product of a weak coach. Richt tried to give away the backfield without making crowell earn it. When recruiting him he had the offense line up without a backfield and told him as a high school kid that this is your team. He is a pathetic weak minded man and this is why his defenses full of the best recruits in the country is the most underperforming year in year out. But hey, I don't mind, I hope he stays there and coaches forever.

I actually have been thinking about this very point lately. I realy don't seem to enjoy most NFL football games. There doesn't seem to be any emotion. It's just a job to most of them.

I am bored by Alabama football games for the same reason. Most of the players seem to just be doing a job. Yes, they win, but it is just so damn boring.

Pretty bad when Georgia fans start sounding like AU fans.

What would you rather have them do to make it less boring? Let teams hang around in the game to make it more interesting instead of obliterating them?

Winning is boring? I enjoy watching my team kick the crap out of everyone else
