We've established quite clearly that Arkansas' longest losing streak is 7 games.

Currently sitting at 4 games....

South Carolina: 21 games
Alabama: 17 games
Vanderbilt: 16 games
Texas A&M: 12 games
Missouri: 10 games
Auburn: 10 games
LSU: 8 games
Arkansas: 7 games

21 ... and it was a fricking brutal two years.

We came limping into Fayetteville with 2 scholarship OLinemen and no scholarship QB and fricking Nutt ran up the score on Lou Holtz and laughed while he was doing it.

Lou could have taken revenge the next season, but he showed some class ... I personally wanted him to run up the score and return the favor to that piece of shite Nutt.

21 games ... it built character among our fan base. We still packed the Cock Pit every single home game and vowed that we'd never let it happen again. We raised our standards and demanded more.

Arkie fans might take note. Raise tee total hell about every loss. Spurrier, more than anyone, has taught us to do that as well.

Beliem reminded me of Fat Bradstard Scott yesterday. That deer in the headlights look is scary when it is your coach. It is his realization that he is in over his head.

As much as I credit Coach Dinardo for reminding the faithful of TS magic, bringing in Faulk, beating that friggin Spurrier, recruiting better....8 games in 1999.

You're not wrong about that. Holtz-led South Carolina was one of Nutt's revenge games. I found it embarrassing, because Holtz was a former coach and Nutt was clearly making it a personal.

The 90's really were a rough decade for football in this state. Though the Saints did win the division for the first time in '91. Only to lose to the damn Falcons in the playoffs.

That is not accurate information. Everyone knows that official records were only kept after Real Football started in 2010.

Shula was Vince Lombardi compared to Whitworth.

Pretty much every single bad record you can measure over the course of a few seasons belongs to his brief 3 year tenure.
