Note to Georgia Fans

This note is not for all Georgia fans, just those using injuries as a crutch for their loss yesterday.
I could fire back that this is exactly what happened to Mizzou last year but that is not where I am going.
No doubt Georgia was hurting on offense but by the middle of the 4th quarter Mizzou was down its best defensive player (Gaines), had lost its leader and QB (Franklin), had a freshman QB with no prep time, had momentum going completely against it, and was in front of a very hostile crowd (kudos GA fans). The score was 28-26 Mizzou and basically the misfortune odds for both teams were even.
Score from this point on...13-0 Mizzou. Face it Georgia the better team won.

We faced it yesterday when the 30 other threads exactly like this were started.

What happened to Gaines?
Strained quadriceps. Sore, but probably fine for next week.

Georgia lost because their defense is terrible, not because of the offense.

Oh really, the offense had nothing to do with it? How bout the fact the left side of the GA offensive line, supposedly one the best in the SEC and injury free, got blew up on a play that saw Mizzou score a touchdown off a fumble. How about Murray throwing two key interceptions?
Mizzou fans got it drilled into their heads last year that the SEC was about defense and line play. Seems to me Mizzou out SECed Georgia yesterday.

I mean it didn't have anything to do with Georgia's offensive injuries, dumbass.
That said, beating this Georgia team isn't as impressive as people are making it out to be. It's pretty seriously flawed.

What exactly is there to face? Mizzou won, UGA's defense is garbage, and our offense is hamstrung with injuries.
Do you want all of that on a plaque to emblazon on the side of Faurot field like some second-rate program? I don't know what you're wanting out of this thread?

Yeah, beating a team with one of the best SEC qb's of all time in front of 92k on the road that hasn't lost at home in 15 games with a team full of 4 and 5 star players. Yeah, not impressive.

Exactly what you gave us. Excuses, and butthurt. That's what we wanted out of this thread. Thanks for complying.

He wants us to bow down to mighty Mizzou for beating an injury riddled team that struggles on defense and has a QB that can look like an NFL QB at times and Driskel at other times.

If UGA had been full strength, Mizzou would not have won yesterday.
But injuries are part of the game, so congrats to Mizzou.

If UGA had Gurley back alone they would have won
Just be happy you got to play the UGA team you did and take the win

UGA's OL has played well against Carolina and LSU, but labeling them one of the best in the SEC is and has been foolish.

How about Murray throwing two key interceptions?
At the end of the game, down two scores and trying to battle back with a receiving corps and OL that were less than good all day.

Again, what do you want? Validation? Sure, Mizzou beat a subpar UGA team yesterday. Enjoy it?
