And what will it say about Mizzou when you lose without Franklin?

Like we were gonna lose to Georgia yesterday? Is that what you mean?

You missed the point of being hypocrites once again. We got our arse handed to us last year regardless of injuries, this year, all kinds of excuses have been made for Georgia. I could care less about admittance into the SEC Rant fan club. Slive invited us to the only club I care about.

I do enjoy pointing out the Rant hypocrisy though.

First Vandy was supposed to beat Mizzou.

Then Georgia was supposed to put Mizzou in its place.

Now Florida will show the world Mizzou is overrated.

I mean, Florida will win? They have to... Right?

I meant what I asked. Do we get five threads per hour about how Mizzou would have won if Franklin wasn't hurt against UGA? You guys are handling this win so well, I'm just curious how a deflating loss will work out.

How about you let us know what they're like from experience. You've already had 2 this year.

Oh, that? C'mon man, you're the new guy. Win the conference before expecting the other bluebloods to take up for you

You don't know Mizzou fans. We have had our nuts kicked in many times over the years. We will just keep rollin'.

Not looking for anyone to take up for us. Just enjoy rubbing hypocrisy in the face here.

He wants us to bow down to mighty Mizzou for beating an injury riddled team that struggles on defense and has a QB that can look like an NFL QB at times and Driskel at other times.

The Mizzou contingent is wanting this to be their "we've arrived" win. I get it; you want into the club. A&M got in by beating Bama last year, why can't we?

That's not how this works and it sucks for y'all and I'm sorry.

^^^^
THIS.

Not surprised at seeing a thread like this from OP -- who appears to have been lurking for a year waiting for a chance to post this thread. I am surprised other Mizzou posters are joining in.

USC beat Tennessee in 1992 -- our first season in the SEC and our second win conference win (after Vanderbilt the week before). It took us another 18 years to get to the SECCG and we still haven't won it. Acceptance in the SEC takes time -- maybe we got there when we beat Ohio State in the Outback Bowls (beating the Buckeyes in a bowl game is an SEC rite of passage); maybe it was 2010; maybe we're still not there.

It starts with sustained success -- and then handling the success (and failures) like a big boy. We were all impressed with Mizzou's win (it was certainly good for Carolina). As Durden said, beat UF and USC without Franklin (and handle your success), and you will have arrived -- much earlier than anyone expected.

; and we all feel bad about Franklin

Cool so we're in better position than your worthless school has ever been.

Appreciate it.

People were pretty rough on Missou last year. My Vandy squad beat them cause they were beat up. Missou has a pretty good football tradition and I thought it was kind of crappy the shite they caught. I think they have a winning record against Bama.
