Opinion: Are Bama/LSU fans obsessed with one another?

It just seems like both fan bases seem to focus on the other's program VERY OFTEN when it comes to sports talk radio.
I know it's not technically a "rivalry" in the most traditional sense- but it's no secret that both schools at this time view the other as their chief threat for SEC West / National aspirations...I think this is just a symptom of the current balance of power.

LSU fans are more guilty of this than Bama fans imo.

That seems about right, IMO.
Take a stroll through the last several pages of the SECRant and count how many threads started by LSU fans about Bama, and how many started by Bama fans about LSU.

I dont think bama is obsessed with us but considereing we're the only team they play with a pulse each year, they know going in we're the only threat, so they focus on us more than other teams.

The SEC Rant is not LSU's message board. Very few Bama posters ever appear on the Tiger Rant.

Well we're comparable programs at the moment and LSU fans have done a bunch of prodding over the past few years. Can't be surprised when they fire back a little.

I love how Bama is on our TV every fricking day but if we talk about them we are "obsessed".
And if we didn't talk about them they would think something is wrong.
