Yes, but they would probably be sitting at 2 or 3.

Would have been tough with Bama still undefeated. But definitely #2 in both polls over Oregon.

Should? Yes, absolutely based on body of work.

Would? No, because that's not how polls work. Probably 2 or 3.

May have caused a different outcome in game two. If they were 4-0 right now they would be #3.

Despite the lack of defense, they would have made 3 top ten teams defeated. That is something no one else has done and they have the toughest schedule in the nation, sorry bayou bengals its true

The UGA game is always closer than it should be. In the past 2 years, when UGA clearly had the better team, they only beat us by a combined 10 points. Not saying we'll win, but there's always a chance, especially considering its a home game

If somehow we were to lose, I would hope the pollsters would take mercy on us since the bus carrying our starting 22 would have just careened off the mountain going through Chattanooga. Maybe they'd give us some sympathy votes.

Probably #2, but Alabama would have less #1 votes.

Just jumping ahead of the whining that would follow from that statement. That is your fan base's go to whine, right?
