If without a loss, UGA would deserve #1, but would be #2 despite Bama's WEAK schedule ...

Would have been tough with Bama still undefeated. But definitely #2 in both polls over Oregon.

Well if u had beat Clemson, they would not be ranked #3. So your argument or wishful thinking is just a dream.

I am still surprise that y'all are rank over so many undefeated teams. Be happy with that!

Nor do the results negate the fact your program has a caq in its mouth. Enjoy. Maybe the rest of the SEC will eat lots of apples to make it taste a little sweeter for you.

Should they? Yes. But I have a hard time putting anyone over Alabama until they are beaten.

No, last season always carries over to the early perception of pollsters. Just look at Southern Cal picked to win it all coming off 10-2 and then they fell flat.

Alabama would be #1 (as long as they stayed undefeated)
Georgia would be #2 or #3 (non SEC voters might push for the Ducks)

So you won a game, now you want some respect from everyone around the country? Be happy that you are ranked ahead of so many undefeated teams. That's not right in the eyes of those teams! So just be happy where u are ranked.

Probably #2, but Alabama would have less #1 votes.

Yea.

They should be number 1 one but they aren't.

Good thing this is all just hypothetical

No. Walking through a field full of cow shite and only stepping in half of the piles doesn't prove much. Scoring on the LSU defense is even less impressive. Scattering a few piles of cow shite around the field would improve the LSU defense by at least 10 orders of magnitude.

I think Georgia should be ranked #3 right now.

I would say #2. I am a firm believer that until the defending National Champs get beat, they should be ranked #1. Alabama earned it and it should have to be taken away to lose it.

I'm sure a lot of people feel differently, but this is America and they have every right to be wrong.

Seriously? baby steps coming from a team that has won nothing yet screams they want recognition? that's rich. You didn't even read the OP, did you? he asked if we had beaten Clemson....that would have made us undefeated and we would have beaten 3 Top 10 teams. When Oregon PLAYS 3 Top 10 teams, much less beats them all in one season, come back and talk to us. Meanwhile enjoy beating USC, Tennessee, and other weak sisters. Whenever you play a half decent team you flame out...every year.

I like the way this guy thinks...

Even if UGA wins out, upsets Bama & goes 12-1 there's prolly gonna be at least 2 undefeated teams left...

Ore./Stan. if undefeated would go to the BCSNCG.

OSU if undefeated would be riding a 25 game winning streak, don't think they'd get left out regardless of SOS.

Then there's FSU/Clem if one of them goes 13-0 they'd get in ahead of a 1 loss UGA team...

The above is all if's & but's... Bama winning out is prolly the SEC's best chance for another BCSC.

If UGA wins out we'd just be screwing errything up...

Yes, but they'd probably be #2.
