The line decent overall so not complaining but, I didn't notice number 1 in the game as much as I thought he'd be after last week. Why?

He was in quite a bit. He's still a Freshman though and doesn't know his assignments well enough to start.

He played a good bit, and Bradley and Wright were playing pretty well... Especially after the 1st qtr. fwiw MA probably played a higher percentage of snaps sat than he did against wazzou.

Blackson,Wright,Bradley, etc may not have the pass rush ability of Adams, but they are pretty solid against the rush.

Ben Bradley was our best DT last night.

Disagree.

I thought Gabe played the best. Especially after the first couple of drives.

ETA: Honestly, it wasn't all that close either.

I thought our DTs played at an extremely high level compared to Game 1 and last year. Heck, even compared to my expectations of where they "should be" they did well.

Also, a rotation is important for DTs. For a guy that is 300 pounds to fight and push every play is tiring. If you are able to rotate through your two deep, it will allow for your DTs to stay fresher and play at a higher level

Ah it is so nice to be able to debate this and not Mike Pelton DL talent development.

Really? Hell, I guess I'm blind then. I watched it on TV but didn't really notice him in.

DEF thought Gabe showed out tho. Esp in the 2nd half.

I thought bb got more consistent pressure on the QB, but wright did make several nice plays behind the LOS. Hoping to eventually go back and rewatch the game sometime this week

I kept thinking "where is Monty?" But then I would look and see #1. He was there a good bit. Seems like ASU's line was a bit more solid against him than Wazzu's, but he was pushing well.
