I'm in Mississippi - no PPV. I know that if your ISP provides that service you can watch online, which is great if yours does. Mine doesn't. Is it online only? Is their such a thing as ESPN3 on DirectTV? I've been calling local sports bars and the unanimous answer is "Huh?".

I think I can get AT&T's U-Verse and watch the game on my phone, but I'd rather poke sharp sticks in my eyes.

ESPN3 is entirely web-based unfortunately. Your ISP either has it or not but people like DTV don't. I'm a little shocked there isn't a local place showing an SEC game.

Most sportsbars have DTV but if you really can't find anything, you may want to check with a local pub. Lots of them show online-only games for soccer and rugby and other euro sports. I might call around and ask your local Irish pub. They may not want to do so given it's a Sat night but they may set up a tv in a corner for you. My local would probably set it up in the back for me but I might spend a few dollars there

If your ISP doesn't have ESPN3, you have to go through ESPN PPV.

I'd be happy to if I knew how. The only PPV channels I get are porn or new release movies, as far as I can tell.

Firstrowsports is your safety net if you can't get the paperview going. I've never missed a game using that website.

I'll check again tomorrow and thanks for the suggestion. But right now it isn't shown. I may go with Hamilton Tiger-Cats vs. BC Lions.

Who is your current provider?

Here are the providers that have ESPN3 right now.

Yeah I've seen that list a bunch of times, hoping to find mine on there. Vicksburg Video. They'll be on that list about the time Hell freezes over. I thought having a locally-owned ISP was a good thing when I signed up. And it is... sort of.

hmm...

well the good news is this is the last PPV game A&M plays in for the foreseeable future.

Do you get the Fox Sports No Huddle replays where you are at?

I'm pretty sure the A&M No Huddle one runs on Sunday mornings.

Thanks and yes, but would you wait for that? That may be the only choice, though. Hamilton Tiger-Cats vs. BC Lions online with Dave South on Radio Aggieland on my phone and the 2nd half of USC/UGA on TV. With enough bourbon this could actually work out well.

well I have to wait for it. I have a wedding to go to today.

random strange sidenote - the hotel I am staying at for the wedding has ESPNU, ESPNews, and Fox Sports 1 but it does NOT have ESPN or ESPN2.

Sympathies. I had a wedding last week and was basically unable to watch a single game.

Even Radio Aggieland crapped out before halftime and started broadcasting a Rangers game. Bleah.

There's a lot to love about living in Mississippi. This is not one of those things.

You really live in Vicksburg?

I've been there twice to visit the battlefield and study my ancestor's monument, but I imagine it would be a boring place to live on the regular.

Yes, since '82.
