God damn that makes me sad. Brad Lester and K Irons were beasts. Quentin Groves, Powers, Davis, Blackmon,...that team was fricking good. So pissed about the Arky and UGA games that year. I remember thinking the Arky game was goin to be a piece of cake and they raped us.

I miss having a defense that could put that kind of pressure on a QB.

Me too man. I was always confident in the defense while Tubs was there. I miss that kind of defense. It's been so long it feels like.

This game and the LSU were my favorites of that year. I really felt like we were going to win a title that year.

TBH I really can't remember. I just remember screaming at my T.V. alot going "WTF ARE YOU DOING!?!" I think there were a few too many plays where he held the ball for too long and got sacked for a huge loss or something

I think Brandon did the best he had with his ability. Probably overachieved. At times, he was a very accurate passer.
I will tell you something else about him. He is true Auburn. My season tickets are in the letterman section. One of my best friends played for Auburn 92-95. He goes to the games but never leaves the tailgate. I have been buying his seats for years since they are better than mine.
Brandon Cox sits right in front of me. He comes with his wife and a few guys who played with him. Dude is at every single game. Doesnt matter if it is UGA or Furman. He is there and stays the entire game. Cheering for Auburn.
When Utah State run us off the field and we almost lost to them, the letterman section cleared out. I mean like a parking lot. Of course we did not leave because we are gluttons for punishment.
Brandon and his crew were right there till 0:00. Never left, never stop yelling

I have always been a member of Team Brandon Cox. Dude finished his career at Auburn with an awesome winning percentage.

God those were some fun years. How I miss those huge games under the lights watching our defense ball out. Come on Gus bring the good times back.

I agree. Dude was solid. Funny how people talked ab him when he was our QB when we were good. It's like we took him for granted. We sounded like LSU does with their qbs except they are actually bad.. Now we wish we had someone like Cox.
