I don't know these guys from Adam, but why are we recruiting so many 6 foot and sub 6 wideouts?
Places all the onus on QB accuracy.

I'd rather get 6'5" as well. Next year we go:
6'1" (Leftwich)
6'3" (Brown)
6'3" (DiLosa)
6'1" (Richard)
6'3" (Moore)
6'4" (Blair)
5'10" (Lee)
6'2" (Hall)
5'10 (Floyd)

Did I ever say I really wish Zanders would flip to WR. Another 6'3" playmaker. Maybe with seeing how much we are struggling at WR, he'll be willing to make the jump in order to get immediate playing time.

Sounds like Moore was a little blindsided by OSU pulling his offer and the ku commitment (he told Lucas Vincent he didn't commit to ku, although his coach did an interview with Rivals saying he did) is just a place holder. He is supposedly in contact with the Mizzou coaches to set up and official visit. Sounds like he might be ours if we want him.

Funny, I've been thinking the same thing almost since the day he signed. Former QBs make some of the best WRs.
Unless he's head, shoulders and waist above others in the pipeline, a position switch is only a matter of time.
Edit: Thanks for posting the 2015 WR depth chart. We're not as dwarfish as I thought.
I was rewatching the Florida game and MM couldn't even throw a quick hitch WR screen accurately. He's all messed up.

We don't have the behemoths like last year but get just a tad bit taller than this year. Having said that...one sub 6' WR is enough for me in one class.

Any news on recruits visiting this weekend?

thank god he was able to hit Murphy on that short dump off pass last Sat.
with Marcus gone next year, Zanders would (probably)look good running that same play.

Looks like we're not going to go after any JUCO WR'S. Seems dumb to me as we look to be short on experience and talent at that position next year. We have only 1 4* WR on the team for next season, that's ridiculous for the type of offense we run.

Well crap. We only had one in 2007 and that was a disaster, too. This sucks.

High 3* Dee Smith announcing Friday. We were the favorite a month or so ago, but who knows now.

Didn't we get someone else from Florence, AL?

wasn't that walter brady?
I think Dee Smith would be a great addition but I have a hunch he will pick Louisville or Miami judging by his tweets.

Well 's hope Brady has some influence. He played OLB before switching to safety so I'm hoping he's being recruited for outside linebacker.

We have got to get some Dline guys. We have some numbers at DE, albeit young, next year with Harris & Loud and then Williams, McWilliams and Brady. In 2 years, they'll be fine at that position. But in 2 years, if Augusta and/or Brantley leave early (assuming they finish strong and have a strong year next year), we will only have Hatley, Winston and Logan. Just no numbers. I know that's a ways off, but we have zero in this class which means, if we don't land in in this class, we have those 3 plus whatever true freshmen will be in the next class.

From PM we're looking for 2 DT'S and 2 DE's in this class, with one DE being a JUCO kid.

Aren't they Beckner and the kid from Chicago? And are we still trying to flip the DE from Ladue who is a Wisc. commit?

We have a good shot with Beckner and rumor is he almost committed to Mizzou back in April but who knows with kids. Things change.
