Wanted to provide some information about the new Malco theater in Oxford

I work at Malco in Oxford and just wanted to set some things straight.
The current Malco is going to be converted more to a family oriented theatre. We'll have the wide release movies that are PG-13 and PG at studio in the mall.
Rated R movies, Indie/Arthouse/Foreign/Opera/ect will be at the new theatre currently known as the amp.
We're suppposed to have a full bar and kitchen, and we're going to show content on the outside amphitheater. They are talking about making the theatre 18+ at certain times but nothing is set in stone.
We'll also be renting theater houses out to groups and individuals who'd like to show their own content. Example: Oxford Film Fest
It's all really exciting of course, and should provide a bunch of new jobs and economic development especially once the bowling alley is operational.

Thanks for the info. Good to see that there will be a place to screen arthouse, indie, and foreign stuff. Any good college town has a theater like that.

Moving to Oxford in the Fall, so I appreciate the improvements. And I like foreign films too.
