The general consensus is that it was that lying sack of shite Lane Kiffen.
Evidently, Doctor Dre has invested some money into this holograph thing where they brought Tupac back ... and he didn't make himself clear, when talking to Hand, that he would get to meet MJ's holographic image.
That's total speculation, but the most common guess by most of those I've seen or heard tweeting about it on Twitter and the radio.
