This is a spin off of the "What type of fan are you" thread.
I was in the bama section of the sec championship game. I was the only fan who was in the hallway by the concession stand after the loss. I picked up a trash can and threw it pretty darn far . I was pissed.
When we got killed by USCe, I watched the whole game. I just sat on my couch head in my hands.
I also remember in 08 when we got killed by bama. I was pissed off but then I saw a sign saying "Bama kills more dawgs than Vick." I thought it was funny and helped my sanity

We LSU fans have the same reaction to the highs and lows.

I meant more like how you deal with a loss. I only wanted to fire richt after the ucf loss. I have been loyal other than that

Reaction to both involves plenty of this:

2011 (especially as a student) forced me to re-evaluate how I take losses, especially the UTx game. Really I just don't talk shite anymore because I always get bit in the arse when I do. I also tried to focus the negative energy on getting school work done early but I'd just end up getting hammered. Now I just get hammered.
In terms of highs...I find them nowhere near as impactful as losses. If anything I just follow college football even more during the next week.

During the Dubose era it, was mainly Alabama fans transitioning into mediocrity. Not a fun time. Being spoiled by so much success. Nothing Dubose did was acceptable, outside of the SEC title in 1999 obviously.
2001-2006 was a roller coaster. It always seemed Alabama was getting better, then boom, they were shitty again. Despite the sanctions, I think most Bama fans had this blind faith that Alabama could still be champions despite being so withered in the depth/talent department. Very frustrating time.
